Aboard The Willow & Quill Β· Floating Bookshop Sanctuary
Autumn leaves are drifting across still waters. You have converted a traditional green narrowboat into an intimate floating bookshop. Ahead lie seven tranquil locks, weary wayfarers seeking book recommendations, forgotten handwritten marginalia, and wild canal blooms waiting to be pressed into keepsakes.
A whispered card from the canal oracle (+2 Peace).
A delicate autumn waterside plant rooted by the lock wall.

Archive your current voyage into The Floating Library and start Season II with clean pages and renewed waters.
Travel through seven locks from Old Mill Lock to the winter estuary at White Willow Haven. There is no haste on the waterway; navigation moves at walking pace.
Wayfarers will visit your cabin. Listen to their unspoken ache, hold the button to steep an herbal infusion, and select a tome from your shelves. Kind recommendations raise Cabin Warmth and unlock bartered books.
Gently shake bartered books to discover forgotten handwritten relics. In the herbarium workshop, press the seasonal flower gathered at that lock onto vintage paper stock and download keepsake bookmarks.
Answer the heart inquiry and cabin questions under the warm glow of the oil lamp. When you are ready, melt the wax and press the brass seal, then work the lock by hand to climb to the next waters.
At every lock, look for a letter signed only βT.β, written in the winter of 1973 to someone called βE.β. Some of your visitors know more than they say. Between locks, roll the towpath die: each stretch of water brings a small event and a question for your logbook.
There are no wrong answers on the canal. Every visitor you serve comes back further downstream with a keepsake for your cabin, and every one of them writes to you at White Willow Haven. Your progress saves itself: play the whole voyage in one evening, or one lock a day.
